One of my many annoying habits is the one where I feel obligated to tell everyone that the one-dollar bill is a huge waste of money. Actually, it starts with the "get rid of the penny" diatribe and quickly moves into the "dollar coin beats dollar bill" monologue. Therefore, I was very pleased to pick up the latest issue of Details today and see a blurb that listed the exact amount of money that the U.S. Treasury would save annually if they replaced the bill with the coin.
It's 747 million dollars.
Yesterday at Target I picked up a pack of "Uno" cards while in line at the check-out counter (I wanted to see what the recommended age was for learning the game.) Unfortunatly, the pack that I picked up was a spanish pack and all the writing on the package was in spanish.
If it's a spanish pack of "Uno" cards, shouldn't it be called "One?"
